Advisory Board
Comprised of experts from the education, technology, and non-profit sectors, parents, and students, the National AI Literacy Day® Advisory Board aims to promote AI literacy as a foundational 21st-century skill through education and community engagement. They also provide guidance to the Steering Committee, contribute to resource development, and encourage participation across all 50 states and internationally. Their work directly contributes to a future where every learner, educator, and citizen is empowered to navigate, use, and shape AI technology with confidence, safety, and critical thinking.
Valerie Brock
Valerie Brock is the Curriculum Lead at Day of AI, an MIT RAISE initiative that empowers educators, students, and families to understand and shape the impact of artificial intelligence. She leads the development of standards-aligned K–12 AI literacy curriculum and professional learning for educators, with a focus on equity, accessibility, and responsible AI. Previously, Valerie served as a Computer Science Education Manager and K–8 special education teacher with New York City Public Schools. She collaborates with schools, libraries, and nonprofit organizations to develop accessible learning experiences that help educators and students engage with AI critically, creatively, and confidently.
