A series of nationwide affiliate events will bring together organizations for learning and entertainment and to showcase important work. National AI Literacy Day will feature two live events in Washington, D.C. and Silicon Valley.

AIforCA
AIforCA, a project of CSforCA, is dedicated to supporting teaching and learning about AI in California. We are hosting an event on National AI Literacy day to build teacher's AI literacy called ""What Teachers Need to Know about AI"". The event will feature a series of lightning talks on special topics about AI from our members, followed by Q&A and roundtable discussion about what teachers want to know about AI and how it relates to their classrooms.
Nevada Department of Education
This introductory webinar offers Nevada educators a clear, accessible overview of AI and its growing role in education. Participants will learn what AI is, how it's used in everyday life and the classroom, and how to approach it with a critical, ethical lens., , The session will also share updates on the upcoming Nevada AI Ethics Guidelines and preview the 2025 Nevada AI in Education Summit., , Designed for K-12 educators and administrators, this webinar aims to build foundational AI literacy and spark ideas for responsible, student-centered integration in schools.
Michigan Virtual
Join school and district leaders from across Michigan for a showcase of how schools are pioneering AI literacy efforts with students and staff. Participants will gain valuable insights from those who have led AI literacy work, including AI-enhanced instructional practices, professional learning delivery, student-driven AI policy development, and community stakeholder engagement. The webinar will also include a facilitated discussion to uncover some lessons learned to benefit Michigan's broader education community as we prepare for a more AI-powered future.
Factors Education
This event will focus on Agentic Ai and how it can be used to help educators and admin develop and measure durable/human skills in schools. The world of Ai is changing everyday and this session will present the latest information on Ai technologies and how it will shape the future of education. We know that the current method of assessment and pedagogy in classrooms is not preparing students for the future. Join to learn how you can meet your curriculum standards while still preparing students for the future workforce!
Transylvania County Schools
Our EdTech Coaching team will lead lessons for preK-12 in each elementary, middle, and high school. Elementary students will participate in AI Literacy activities all week during their media time. Middle and high school students will participate in AI Literacy activities in homeroom or small group throughout the week.
