A series of nationwide affiliate events will bring together organizations for learning and entertainment and to showcase important work. National AI Literacy Day will feature two live events in Washington, D.C. and Silicon Valley.

National AI Literacy Day: The Colorado Story
In partnership with the Colorado Department of Education, Colorado Education Initiative is hosting panels and learning sessions throughout the day.
Computer Science Alliance
We are running a 15 week teacher professional development on AI Literacy using the Everyday AI curriculum. 20 educators from around New Mexico and 5 facilitators are diving into AI Literacy that is foundational for our students to understand.
Croton-Harmon High School
Students will engage in AI activities and revisit real-life applications of artificial intelligence.
Day of AI Webinars
Multiple webinars to support AI Literacy curriculum and subsequent school based events for K-12
How to Decide if an AI Tool Is Right for You
Join Digital Promise to build your AI literacy and gain the skills to critically evaluate AI tools for ethics, equity and effectiveness. We'll explore not only the tools themselves but also the broader context in which they are used, providing a framework for thoughtful reflection before adoption. By the end of the session, you'll feel confident and empowered to assess whether an AI tool aligns with your values and is safe to use in your specific context.
How to Get Involved
Individuals, schools, districts, and organizations who want to learn more or get engaged in National AI Literacy Day can get involved in two ways - as contributors or participants.
