Steering Commitee
The EDSAFE AI Alliance aims to promote AI's safe, accountable, fair, and equitable (SAFE) use in education. Led by a Steering Committee of leading education, technology, and learning organizations, the Alliance joins forces to address one of our time's most pressing educational policy challenges. Anchored in the SAFE framework, EDSAFE focuses on policy development and support at the federal, state, and local level through our education and advocacy efforts.
The Tech Interactive is a world class science and technology center in the heart of Silicon Valley that welcomes over 300,000 visitors a year, including 100,000 field trip participants. Visitors are encouraged to explore the 130,000 square feet of hands-on activities, exploratory labs and design challenge experiences as well as interactive exhibits on climate change, robotics, AI, innovations in healthcare, cybersecurity and more. The Tech’s STEM education center also creates immersive and inclusive STEM education resources for educators, families and students to develop the next generation of problem-solvers locally, nationally and globally.
Common Sense is the nation's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of all kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in the 21st century. We combine original research with game-changing advocacy efforts to make the digital world work better for all kids. Our advocacy work highlights legislation related to technology and identifies solutions that protect consumer privacy, push for better connectivity for students and families, and hold tech companies accountable to ensure a healthy internet for all.
The AI Education Project is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit devoted to making sure that all students are ready to live, work, and thrive in a world where AI is everywhere. We work with education systems to advance AI literacy and AI readiness through high quality curriculum, professional development, and strategic partnerships with states, school districts, and other systems

Advisory Board
The National AI Literacy Day Advisory Board comprises diverse experts from various sectors, including education, technology, and non-profit organizations. By advising the Steering Committee of National AI Literacy Day, they aim to promote AI literacy through education and community engagement. The board provides guidance and support for National AI Literacy Day, an annual event to increase awareness and understanding of artificial intelligence among students, educators, and the general public. They contribute to developing educational resources and initiatives that foster AI literacy across all age groups.
