AI Plagiarism Playbook

The AI Plagiarism Playbook is a self-paced online course that helps educators rethink writing instruction in the age of AI. Instead of relying on detection tools alone, the course focuses on designing writing tasks that make student thinking visible. You'll learn how to build assignments with checkpoints, process documentation, personal reflection, and localized prompts that are difficult to outsource to AI. The course also explores alternatives to traditional essays-like debates, projects, and thesis defenses-and introduces tools such as Draftback and Brisk to better understand how students write and revise over time. Throughout the course, AI is treated as a tool to be used thoughtfully, supporting deeper learning while maintaining academic integrity.
