AI for Elementary School Children

This in-person session at Mason Public Library focused on AI Literacy for elementary school-aged children. This interactive session introduces elementary-aged children to the basics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way. Through hands-on games and activities, kids will learn how AI works, where they encounter it in daily life, and how it learns from data. The session also emphasizes ethical and responsible AI use, teaching children simple but important concepts like not trusting everything AI says, protecting personal information, and using AI as a helpful tool rather than a shortcut. Designed to be highly interactive, the program encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity while helping kids become thoughtful and responsible users of emerging technology.
