AI Literacy Day Spotlight on AI & Workforce Digital Skills

For National AI Literacy Day, National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) is shining the spotlight on workforce programs and how AI skills intersect with digital skills for work. We’ll share an overview of NDIA’s resources related to AI and findings from NDIA’s work with programs piloting AI additions to their digital skill instruction over the last year and a half. Then we’ll chat with Ashley Smith from SOAR—an organization that is teaching digital skills for work in Appalachian Kentucky—about how they are adding AI to their digital skills instruction and how learners are responding. We’ll wrap up with an overview of free resources from Microsoft that can support both your community members and your organizational staff as they learn about AI and their work.
