Developing Ethical AI for K-12 Education

Developing Ethical AI for K-12 Education: What critical questions should education leaders ask when evaluating AI-powered tools?

With countless AI tools flooding the education space, it can be difficult to tell which ones were designed with students’ and teachers' needs and experiences in mind. This National AI Literacy Day, join Quill.org for a webinar focused on ethical AI development for K-12 education.

The goal of this session is to give education leaders the skills they need to evaluate EdTech tools that use generative AI to interface with students. Together, we will look behind the curtain at the design of Quill's Reading for Evidence tool. We will also practice evaluating GenAI prompts from a student-centered lens. Educators will leave the session with a clear framework and list of questions that they can ask when evaluating AI-powered EdTech tools for both ethical design and effectiveness.
