The Leader's Mirror: Building AI Literacy for System-Level Strategy

What does it take for leaders to make confident, responsible decisions about AI? In this session, leaders will examine real decisions they are already facing, including approving AI tools, navigating governance and policy questions, addressing academic integrity concerns, and evaluating vendors.

Using the emerging Value Add of Technology for Leadership framework, participants will reflect on their own AI literacy and the leadership conditions required to guide responsible AI use across a system. Leaders will leave with greater clarity about the competencies required for AI leadership and a personal commitment to strengthening their capacity to lead in an AI enabled education environment.
