AI Literacy for Everyone

This course explores the fundamentals of artificial intelligence through hands-on lessons in machine learning and data classification. Participants learn how to design AI models while understanding the critical role of human decision-making in training them. The course also highlights how to identify bias and protect privacy, empowering learners to become responsible creators and users of technology. Participants will:

• Define what artificial intelligence is and identify its key characteristics

• Explain the core components of machine learning and how data impacts AI performance

• Describe how machines learn through algorithms and compare this process to human learning

• Develop an understanding of responsible AI, including bias, data privacy, and human responsibility
